AAA is hiring Emergency Roadside Specialists in Bakersfield, CA. You MUST live within 80 miles of Bakersfield to be considered for this position. This is a work from home position, but training must be completed at the Bakersfield office before working from home. Here are a few more details about the job.
As an Emergency Roadside Specialist you are bringing your expertise to a best-in-class organization that is passionate about delivering legendary service to our members. As a representative of this team you will:

In a fast paced call center environment process member requests for roadside assistance.
Keep members informed of the status and progress of their requests.
Possess the ability to effectively diffuse high tension situations.

Call center experience preferred
Excellent written / verbal / computer skills
High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Successful completion of Auto Club pre-employment assessments, background and drug screenings
Ability to remain seated at a computer for extended periods of time
Ability to multi-task
Effectively work from home with little supervision while maintaining required metrics
Meet overall performance and attendance goals at a Fully Achieves rating or better within 6 months of hire
Average or advanced knowledge of computing and networking concept
Familiarity with Windows based operating systems and general PC use
Transport, set up and maintain computer equipment
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
What’s in it for you?
Starting pay is $15.05 per hour. We offer monthly incentive pay and shift differentials.
Opportunity to qualify for a $.50 increase per hour after six months of successful time in position
Six week paid training to prepare you to provide legendary service to our members
The regular schedules (post-training) will include two four-hour “blocks” per day featuring overnight, day and swing shift time frames with the requirement to work 40 hours in a week
The days off will be Wednesday/Thursday
Home Office Requirements
A company issued PC with all required hardware and software will be provided.
Employee is responsible for transport, set up and ensuring the safety of the computer equipment.
Employee to provide their own workspace to include desk and chair Ergonomic guidelines will be provided, however, employee is responsible for ensuring the workspace is ergonomically correct and provides safety and comfort.
Employee to provide dedicated high speed internet service (minimum 25 mbps download, 5 mbps upload)
Ability to directly connect to ISP via Ethernet (No wireless connections, DSL, WISPS, 3/4G, hotspots, etc.)
Internet service must be solely dedicated to performing the employee’s job duties during the employee’s work hours.
Employees will be given a monthly payment to reimburse them for the reasonable cost of internet service usage during work hours.
Workspace free of obtrusive noise and other distractions.
Arrangements should be made for care of small children and pets during work hours.
All employees are required to provide access to their home and the Auto Club issued PC during their normal scheduled work day for periodic home inspections to ensure a proper work from home environment and that other company issued equipment is functioning properly.

Tax Jar is hiring full time remote Plus Customer Success Specialists in the US.
As a Plus Customer Success Specialist you will
Provide on-going support to Plus customers who have been on-boarded
Establish a working partnership with Plus customers
Enjoy spending time on calls, listening and talking to customers
Provide answers to basic sales tax consulting questions via phone and email (don’t worry, we’ll train you to be a sales tax pro)
Manage customer inquiries against the TaxJar Plus SLA
Spend time getting to know the customer's profile and adequately preparing prior to each engagement, be proactive
Track all Plus customer requests and trending issues, maintain notes for each customer proactive / future communications that will be valuable to their business needs, be thoughtful about what is most important to each individual Plus customer and how we can best support them
Track feedback from customer interactions to contribute to improved on-boarding experiences and product roadmap
Be knowledgable about the near term product roadmap and able to speak to it, establish a trusted partnership with the customer
Committed to success from the customer’s point of view
