Online Maps Quality Analysts work from home on a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week completing tasks that evaluate online mapping related information. Candidates for this position will need to have good research skills, and a keen interest and understanding of local and national geography.

As a member of the global crowdsourcing team you have the opportunity to gather data for some of the world’s top internet and search engine companies. Your projects will range from transcribing audio and user experience research to content evaluation. This is an entry level position and all work is completed remotely using web-based platforms.

Work Schedule: • Crowdsourcing positions are part-time (up to 20 hours per week) and highly flexible • In most cases work is done at your own pace with no minimum hours required

Minimum Qualifications: • Currently living in and legally permitted to work in the United States • Access to a computer with a sound card and speakers, and/ or access to a smart phone that is less than three years old • Access to a secure high speed internet connection • Good English writing and speaking skills

Social Media Evaluator

As a Social Media Evaluator with Appen you have the opportunity to provide feedback on news feeds, advertisements and search results.

Work Schedule: • Social Media Evaluator positions are part-time (up to 20 hours per week) and highly flexible • The usual position requires 1-4 hours of work per day, 5-7 days a week

Minimum Qualifications: • Currently living in and legally permitted to work in the United States • Access to a computer with a sound card and speakers, and/ or access to a smart phone that is less than three years old • Access to a secure high speed internet connection and quiet non-public workspace • Good English writing skills • Ability to work with applications, troubleshoot software, and execute instructions independently
