Responsibilities typically include handling document requests, formatting, quality checks, and meeting client deadlines. This position is well-suited for candidates with prior administrative, legal, or document support experience.
The Refund Specialist II is responsible for validating and tracking credit balances owed to insurance companies, patients, and other payers. This role involves preparing refund requests, understanding payer contracts, posting payments, and supporting cash management activities. The position also includes auditing, reconciliation, and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
This role provides administrative support to utilization management teams by handling documentation, data entry, and coordination tasks. Responsibilities often include processing authorizations, maintaining records, and supporting internal workflows to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. Prior healthcare or administrative experience is helpful but not always required.
